More Surgery?!?!?!?!?!

okay... let's backup into some history so that this will make more sense...

about two months ago, chiyang went to see my neurologist to ask him about a couple of things that were bothering him. most of it weren't quite insignificant, but still, chiyang said, if in the future, we discover that it truly was something, he would kick himself for not being concerned earlier on. so we thought we'd better be safe than sorry. the neurologist eased our concerns and said that none of the issues we've brought up are too alarming, but to be sure, he ordered an MRI of the brain.

when the results came back, the neurologist called to tell us that the head MRI read pretty normal. there was nothing wrong with the brain. however the radiologist would read the images noted that he had something in his right cheek. a small mass. and we were recommended to see an ENT.

so today chiyang met with our friend who is also an ENT. i wasn't there with chiyang, but chiyang told me that they will need another MRI or CT scan, not sure which one, but basically they need one of just that area to see the mass more clearly. our friend said it could be a tumor. ugh! and that we might need surgery to remove it. chiyang's concern is that it is located very close to the nerves and he might run into problems...

hmm... more surgery? i think he's sick of that now... sigh...
